After many questions that were promptly answered by Greg Edwards alleviating any concerns I might have had, I pulled the trigger on a stunning Washburn PS600 with a Silverburst finish. I received my guitar via UPS from NJ all the way to Minnesota, probably 1000 miles plus. Think about that trip in a cold truck bumping along over a 1000 miles or so, or perhaps in the belly of an airplane subject to freezing temperatures, changes in altitude and pressure. It arrived safe and sound thanks to Greg's packing. Double boxed and in the gig bag. As with most guitars, new or used, a new owner will almost always tune the guitar first. I'm no different so I plugged my new Washburn PS600 into my BOSS ME-30 and hit the tuner button. Over the course of 6 strings I was dumbfounded. The tuning was nearly perfect. In fact, all six strings were exactly one digital hash mark from dead center on the display, as if by design. If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't have believed it. This truly is a testament to the Buzz Feiten tuning system. As Greg said, "Hail Buzz, King of Tunerville!" The workmanship of this guitar can be seen, felt and heard. It is quality through and through. It has the sound to back up the looks. Those who wonder "What are Egnator pickups" won't be asking that question once they hear them. They'll be asking "Where can I get some Egnator pickups?" No other vendor online or otherwise was anywhere near Gapplegate's price. Just wanted to let you know the Washburn N1 arrived safe & sound today. In my 20+ years of playing and collecting guitars, I just want to tell you how happy I am with this guitar. I'd be hard pressed to find a better guitar for the money - even if Rondo still had their brick and mortar open in NJ. It looks and feels every bit as nice as my 1991 N2 model, and I'm very impressed by the gigbag also. I bought this guitar for travel and was anticipating a thin, no frills gigbag.
